Hi,

I am dionissios tsangaropoulos director of Delta Tracing based in Italy.

3 years ago i ordered a workstation with a PNY Quadro 4 750 XGL graphic
board. Our production is based on 3ds max software and since 2002 i am an
EMEA Autodesk authorised consultant for 3ds max and autodesk viz.

Three weeks ago i upgrade my personal workstation to 3ds max 7 software and
i decided for first time to use the direct3d accceleration as nvdia didn't
produced yet the maxtreme drivers for this version. I have a lot of crashes
and problems since then, only in direct3d mode. The card is very, very fast
but i can't use it, it crashes every 5 minutes. basically i get a blue screen
error based to nv4_disp.dll file which caused by infinite loop... I checked
in internet, forums everything, didn't find a soultion yet. I am quite
frustrated. My production is in delay because of this problem.

workstation hardware:

dual athlon mp 2100+
2 gb ram ecc
nvidia pny quadro 4 750 xgl
motherborad asus a7m266-d bios v.1010
sound blaster audigy
pinnacle dv 500
windows xp (sp2 unfortunately updated)

Now I am using the nvidia 45.28 drivers which seem the most stable.
Installing and work with a new series drivers example 61.76 is impossible.

The motherboard as you can see above is an ASUS A7M2266-D and unfortunately
the AGP drivers are too old, didn't see any recent update. Could be the
problem?

Please if you need other info let me know...

I have an urgent need of your help.

Best regars,

Dionissios tsangaropoulos - Delta Tracing
