View Full Version : Windows Key & Q

Hi,
Just rebuilt my PC after a hardware problem.
Used to use this really useful keyboard combination of the Windows key and
"Q" to select a new account to log into, but, can't for the life of me
remember how I set it up. I thought it was a Powertoy but can't find it on
the MS XP powertoy page.
Can anyone help?
Adrian H.

For all of the shortcuts available, open Help and Support and do a search
for "natural keyboard shortcuts". Open the topic "Windows keyboard
shortcuts overview."
The Win+ shortcuts are listed under the node "Natural keyboard shortcuts"

It's much more fun trying Win+ 'all' - to see what happens - most don't =
respond though.

NO...... This is definately an add-on that rotates the various account
names around the screen, to select an account you rotate it to the 12
O'clock position and then release the key combo to logon to the account.

Well now it looks like, from a subsequent post, that he will have to search
the entire internet for the add-on ;-)

Hi Adrian,
You are speaking of SFS: It can be downloaded on line 34.
Super Fast Switcher PowerToy (Winkey + Q)

However, I find using Switch User from the right click even easier:
Add Switch User to the Start Button and Right Click (Line 44)
