I have a user who can sign into MSN Messenger the
Exchange version. They can send but not receive any
messages. The person receives message from their contact
but when he/she replys, it looks like it was sent but it
comes back later about 25-30 seconds saying it could not
be sent. I have reinstalled the program but still having
problems. Any suggestions?

Greetings Sam,
This is usually the result of the user having the built-in Internet Connection Firewall (ICF)
engaged in Windows XP. To turn it off, click Start, then click the Control Panel. If you're
in category view click Network and Internet connections then click Network Connections. Right
click your network/internet connection, then click Properties. Click the Advanced Tab, and
verify that the Internet Connection Firewall is unchecked.

Hi Sam,
Then most likely they've installed some type of software firewall on their PC, that's usually
the sole problem which causes this issue.
