Hi, I'm having the same problem. LAN just stops working too since I
installed SP2 on my Compaq Presario Laptop. But I also installed SP2
on my desktop but didn't have any problems there. I disabled firewall
on my laptop, and switched off the monitoring facility. Also checked
TCP/IP settings as mentioned and made sure it's on Permit All. But
problem still there. Where can I switch the Firewall Services from?
Control Panel? I'm wondering if this could be a hardware conflict
problem between my Network Port on my Laptop and SP2, appreciate your

I have not got my laptop handy but a similar thing happened to me and I
disabled the firewall which if I remember right will be automatically enable
by sp2 (sorry it's christmas, drinking time). Also check the wireless
connection properties and see if the option to allow access to the wireless
point is checked....
