Can't Download MSN Msgr 6.1 to W XP

I tried all last night to download 6.1 to my XP machine. I would time out
after 30 minutes or so. I disabled McAfee . still no luck. Any tips. I
did download from same home network to Windows ME and Windows 2000

Thx I tried again to download from the site but I still hang up. I have
disabled McAfee and Zonealarm but no luck. I recently upgraded to Acrobat 6
..
any trouble shooting tips
