sp2 some links do not work

Hi,
After installing sp2, some links on internet explorer do
not work, that wkrked before.
some sites work fine and others do not. It is very annoying
and I have to switch to netscape or msn to be able to
follow the links.
Please advise,
PS I have disabled the pop up blocker and fiddled with
different java settings, have disabled the firewall and
tried a few other things, to no avail.

Hi,
A few things you might try:
Shut everything (computer, modem, router, etc) down for 4 or 5 minutes- a
complete power down.

Delete the Temporary Internet Files folder.
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm When that folder is recreated after
a restart, set it's size to about 50-60 MB.
