View Full Version : Delete a file while its in use

i am trying to delete a file but windows xp says its in
use, so i decided to try and delete it in safe mode but
it is sill in use. The file is not a file that windows
requires. the file is in my music folder and its a pretty
large file. any ideas plz.

Do a search from yesterday posted by "AR" entitled - Cannot delete certain
MP3 & WMA files - There are several suggesstions posted.

Hi Drew,
Open the Media Player, delete that file from the playlist. Then close and
try deleting it again,
