View Full Version : Several issues after installing SP2

Hi,

I have upgraded to SP2 and found problems when playing a
game (dxball). When I open the game, it just freezes and
doesn't respond at all. I had to kill the application by
bringing up the task manager. Prior to SP2 installation,
I use to play the game everyday without any problems.

I found another problem when playing a DVD, the
synchronisation between the audio and picture doesn't go
together at all. What I mean is the audio is ok but the
picture is not able to refresh the display properly.

Also I found another strange problem when booting the PC.
When I switch on the PC, it re-boots twice or thrice and
then the PC boots. Once the PC has booted, then again
when I try to restart or (switch off the PC and boot) at
that instance, it would boot in one go. But if I switch
off the PC for a day and switch on the next day, it would
cycle for 2 to 3 times before it actually booted up.
I don't know if anyone has come across with the similar
problem.

I'd be greatful if anyone can assist me in resolving the
above mentioned issues.

Thank you in advance.

Regards,
