Jonathan:
As per your instructions last week on uninstalling
Windows Messenger 6.0 and reinstalling Windows Messenger
4.7, I did it all and was very successful. However,
since then I have been getting a Server Busy pop up.
This is very annoying. This could be a coincidence that
this is happening so close to the reinstall. The box has
an exclamation on the left with Server Busy alonside of
it. Then the message:
Action cannot be completed because the other program is
busy. Choose "switch to" to activate the busy program
and correct the problem.
Then I have my choice of 2 buttons which are Switch To or
Retry. I can't minimize this popup and when I click on
Switch To, the Start window comes up. And the Start
window only shows those items listed there and not any of
the programs. I've rebooted numerous times and each time
I go to a website, this pop up returns. I sure hope you
can help me get rid of this.
Thank you for any help you can give me. El
