Problem with the SEARCH function

Whenever I click on Search in Windows XP Professional I
get another tab that says "StreetFinder" and not the
dialogue box for searching.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Yes. go to microsoft.public.windowsxp.basics and try again.
