I am still trying to update the OEM installed XP Home edition to XP Pro.
My XP Pro edition does not have SP2 installed, but it is installed on
my old computer. None of the KB 875350 procedures work. "Use the
hidden $NTServicePackUninstall$\spuninst\spuninst.exe" can't be found.

Thanks in advance for any help

I did it using autostreamer. You can get it here.

I finally found spuninstall.exe. It is not located where KB 875350 said
it is. It is located in a directory
C:\windows\softwaredistribution\download\. . . . When I run
SPuninst.exe from DOS, it tells me it is going to uninstall the entire
XP OS, not just SP2. Should I still run it? Would I then be able to
run my update version of XP Pro?

Thanks in advance for any help.
