All,
I cannot seem to get the messenger application running.
I double click but to no avail. I get a quick hourglass
but no application running or at least displaying. Any
suggestions ? thanks

Greetings Lee,

Try downloading and running these .reg files:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/downloads/enablewindowsmessenger_user.reg
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/downloads/enablemessenger.reg
After this, reboot and see if you can load Windows Messenger.
