I have been trying to install MSN Messenger for the past
month+. I originally had ver. 4.6 and have tried to
upgrade to 4.7 to 5.0 and now 6.1. I keep getting the
following message each time:
Error creating process <C:DOCUME~1\PMKD~1\LOCALS~1
\Temp\IXP000.TMP\bootstrap.exe /MSN>.
Reason: The system cannot find the path specified.
As 4.6 quit working on me (I guess because it was an old
ver.), I have been unable to get the upgrade done. I'm
running XP. Is there something I inadvertently wiped out
or something that is causing me grief? Help...I miss my
IM!
