I am working on an XP machine and am trying to connect to a 2000 machine and
am running into some problems. I am not sure what exactly might be the
problem. I know that from the 2000 machine I am able to connect w/o any
problems to this XP machine, as I have done it, but I can not reverse the
process. I would like to connect to the 2000 machine. Anything I am doing
wrong?

Thank you.

Matt

Windows 2000 Workstation does not support remote desktop connections. Only
the server version of Windows 2000 supports incoming remote desktop
connections.

There are a number of VNC alternatives including WinVNC that you could use.
Another option is to use the remote desktop feature of Netmeeting.

Post back if you need additional info on any of these.
