messenger vois problem

I too have the same problem.
we are both using logitech web cams I have the latest
4000 pro but my son has an older modle - I was going to
suggest he upgrades but it appears I could be wasting
money if there is a fault in what we are doing rether
than the web cam
Any help would be appriciated
