Hello,
I have windows messenger 4.7 and it is working fine. Except when I chat
with someone who has MSN messenger. I get many symbols which are not shown
as emotions. I saw that MSN messenger has the ability to show emotions with
animations and a host of other emotions that are not available under windows
messenger.
Any way I can get windows messenger to display the emotions as they are sent
by people using MSN messenger??
Thanks..

Greetings Nick,
Unfortunately no, this is an exclusive MSN Messenger feature -- if you want this, you'll need
to install MSN Messenger 6.x yourself:

Thanks Jonathan
Do you know if Windows messenger will ever incorporate this feature. I'll
wait for it rather than installing another messenger program. I never did
figure out the reason why Microsoft would have 2 messenger programs
anyway...

Hi Nick,
Well I can't say never -- but it won't in the near future.
As for why there's two Messenger programs, lets not get into that =).
