View Full Version : "E-mail Address Not Verified"

Recently I helped my Dad set up his .Net Passport account
so he can use Windows Messenger (Windows XP)

It was successful and we are able to IM each other.

However, whenever he sends me IMs it shows as coming from
(E-mail Address Not
Verfied). Each time he signs on with Windows Messenger a
window pops up that tells him he needs to verify his e-
mail address and once he does, it won't continue to show
it's unverified.

We checked the link that appears in this message and it
says he is supposed to get an e-mail that will tell him
how to verify his e-mail address.

Problem is... he's never gotten the e-mail that is
supposed to contain the instructions to verify his e-mail
address and it's been three days since he set up his .Net
Passport account.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

Thank you for any assistance.

Greetings Deb,

Just have your father ask Passport Services to send a new verification e-mail:
