Why do I keep getting New Programs Installed? I did do some reinstalling
of MSN Messenger 6.1, but I have had it before and have started it several
times, but still keep getting this message. How do I stop this?
Thanks
Joel

Greetings Joel,
I assume you mean on the Start menu when it indicates when you have new programs installed?
If you haven't properly logged off (computer rebooted, etc.) you'll see these coming back
from your previous Windows session when you did log off/turn off the computer normally. If
you wish to remove this functionality, right-click the Start button, choose Properties, click
the Customize button, click the Advanced tab, uncheck 'Highly newly installed programs' and
click OK to both open dialogs.
