I posted a question in Help_And_Support, and tonight I
look for a response and the whole newsgroup is gone.
What am I doing wrong, or has this been eliminated?

What you're doing wrong is reading newsgroup on the web, using
Microsoft's web interface. It's the slowest, clunkiest, most
troublesome way of doing it. Do yourself a favor and access this,
and any other newsgroups you want, with a real newsreader, such
as Outlook Express, which comes with Windows.

Open OE, click tools, accounts, add, news, then put your display name in,
email if you want to, then add this as your news server
msnews.microsoft.com and click ok.

>Thanks, Ken and Graham. I was using OE, but deleted my
thread in error. It had a couple of replies I wanted to
re-read, and I didn't know how to get them back. I got
on the web to see if I could get further back, and
couldn't find 'Help and Support'. I'm still looking for
a good tutorial to help me navigate in OE, but you're
both right, even in my early stages, it's much better.
