I have a bunch of programs called: "Windows XP hotfix"
in my add/remove programs list. Can these be deleted?
Thanks

Those are downloads from Windows Updates--most are security patches that
should be left in place.

If you wish to safely remove the "uninstall files" for the
Hotfixes (i.e. $NtUninstallQxxxxxx$ files shown in Windows Explorer)=20
and cleanup your Add/Remove Programs list, visit MS-MVP Doug Knox's=20
excellent website for instructions.
Note: Doug's program only removes the uninstall files and Hotfix =
entries
in the Add/Remove Programs listing. It does not remove the=20
actual updates.
Remove Hotfix Backup files and the Add/Remove Programs Registry entries
