deleting silly conversations

can someone help me. how do i delete my messenger history
from my computer i have had some silly conversations that
i want erased completely from my hard drive...... also can
i delete emails too. I have deleted in internet options
but would appreciate any help on this

Greetings,

You can delete the history files for an individual contact by right-clicking on their name,
choosing View Message History, and then click the Delete History button.

Will this erase all evidence from my hard drive? or is
there a program i can get that will erase all chat history?

Hi,

It'll delete the file, if you want to remove all the chat history, simply go to your My
Documents\My Received Files folder and look for a folder within there that looks like your
Passport and simply remove the folder.

Of course, any "undelete" program could bring it back. You might be interested in using a
file shredder to remove these:
