I ahve installed SP2 on my XP Professional PC. A few days ago, I want ot
install the IIS (Come along with my XP installation CD), I have problem.
I tick the box in the setp windows component menu under the Control Panel.
It prompts me to insert "MS Windows XP SP2", however, my orginal CD is XP
with SP1a. The system does not accept my XP CD.
Would any one be so kind as to help me?
Thanks in advance.

If that don't work, then you'll need to at least build a "slipstream"
version of SP2 on your harddrive - there are plenty of web sites instructing
you how to do this - the last step, burning it to CD is optional for this
issue, but you may wish to have it for repair or new installation in the
future. Once you have either the folder or CD built, point the IIS
installation to this folder or the CD.

Thank you for your reply, however, I am still not very clear about what I
have to do. Do you mean that I have to download the SP2 then when system ask
for the CD then I should point it to the folder of the SP2? I have tried this
method, but it seems no use. Could you please tell me more detail.
Thanks a lot.
