on XP. I have a computer with Windows Messenger 5.0
installed. When I invite another computer on the same lan
running Windows MEssenger 4.7, app sharing will not
start. Help!!! I need to get this figured out for

Greetings Rachel,

As Frank indicated to you, Netmeeting is in fact in Windows XP (it simply doesn't have an
icon by default). To start it, click Start, then Run, type "conf" and click OK.

However, by "not start" do you mean absolutely nothing happens, or the window appears but
can't connect? Are you seeing any error messages?

Thanks Frank and Jonathan.

To asnwer your question Jonathan, nothing happens. The
other user accepts the request and nothing happens at
all. I am not sure where to go at this point.

Thank you,
