View Full Version : Messenger wont , but now WILL sign in :o)

This is what i did.

Uninstall 6.1
Once uninstalled, go to program file/messenger/MSMSGS , double click
it, and it relaunched 4.7

Run 6.1 again.
It sorted it.

BTW, i also cleared the messenger internet access from my firewall
list, mind you did this prior to uninstalling 6.1, and that done
nothing.

Must be that 6.1 doesnt like you to sign in on different PCs?
Not tried accessing it from other PCs yet, think i will manually sign
out rather than just logging on on another PC , and letting Messenger
sign me out from the one i was at.

Hope it helps others out.Nothing i found out there did

Greetings Steve,

How many times did you try on the main PC? It could have just been a temporary problem, and
was resolved after you had gone through some of the troubleshooting.

There should be no difficulty in simply sign-in when another PC is signed in, but it is
recommended that you use the Sign Out option.
