MSN Messenger question

I have both MSN Messenger along with Messenger plus
downloaded and lately I have been downloading new fonts
and using them in Messenger. I have a contact that has
Messenger 6.0 installed. My contact says she cant tell
any difference in the fonts at all, but I see the
difference on my end. My contact says they don't change.
I think it's because my contact has not yet upgraded to
6.1. I love the new fonts and want my contacts to be able
to see them along with me. Can any one give me a clue
about this?

Greetings Sam,

In order to see the fonts that you've chosen, your contact will need to have the same Fonts
installed on their PC. As such, simply send her the fonts that you're using and tell her to
install them. Assuming you used the normal way for installing Fonts (there's several), the
fonts on your own PC will be located in the \Windows\Fonts folder. To install a font (this
is just for reference), click Start, then Control Panel, click Appearance and Themes (if
category view is on), then choose Fonts (if category view is on, it's in the 'See Also' pane
on the left-hand side), and then within the Fonts folder, click the File menu, then Install
New Font.
