View Full Version : msmsgs quits and often crashes

I get the message "msmsgs.exe has failed and will need to
shut down. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
Sometimes this results in a complete crash and I need to
pull the plug. The knowledge base says the fix is to
install the latest version (4.7) which I already have.
I have tried permanently disabling messenger, but
apparently explorer and outlook express need this.
Does anyone else have this problem? Any Suggestions?
