pleas i want to know what it is?and what it's ability is?

basically it is just an updated version of Sp1...therefore making your
computer much more secure because it provides you with more security updates
as well as more options and capabilities that you didn't have before dealing
with dll's and applications

Let's be honest here, despite what the credentialed Microsoft shills say,
it' s much more than a simple Service Pack and if your PC installed OS is
not in 'order' when you install it, you will experience problems, problems
that Microsoft never intended (in all fairness to them) nor did they
anticipate.. And if they did.......
If you are not having problems with your operating system, leave it alone.
If you need to practice your troubleshooting skills and have time on your
hands, by all means, install it (from a disc) ..We will see you back here,
more than likely.

It does a good deal more. Most of the system modules have been reworked
to prevent attacks through Buffer overruns and the like. Installation
recommended, but get the full version on CD and make sure your machine
is clean and virus/spyware free before installing. See Installing SP2:
