Guy, that has happened to me too. Maybe it happens all the time and we don't
know, but a few times recently I've asked my friend a question about
something, and he'll say, "Didn't you get my message before?" So I have no
idea what ones don't go through to him, and vice versa. And I don't knwo
what causes it. Sometimes I think maybe I should close the chat window after
each message, but who knows. It's anoyonig, because it can come off as
seeming rude to the person at the otehr end when you don't answer!

This is in reply to a Guy Gusdal who posted this last month:
>Help would be very much appreciated. I have never come across this before
nd it is quite frustrating. For some reason during chats with various
people (some more than others -- also happens with Yahoo Messenger) I will
often not receive all the messages that the other person sends to me. EX.
get three messages in a row and then missed the next 2 or 3. There doesn't
seem to be a rhyme or reason to the pattern. I have never had the problem
before, until I switched IP's (from ADSL to Cable), using XP Home and Norton
2003 Anti-virus (was using a Norton Firewall but switched to
ZoneLabs --Nortons was too frustrating).
Thanks
