I'm unable to connect in voice with anyone and it's the
same thing with them they can't get voice either....
I'm running Windows XP Home, I also have ZoneAlarm 4.0,
and Nortons AntiVirus 2004 on my system.
I'm unable to get the voice to work, I've set the UDP
Ports to 5004-65535 just like I had done in the past when
it worked, but now nothing is working in voice.
Is there another setting that needs to be made on the
ports or somewhere else on my system or in ZoneAlarm or
Nortons...
Please let me know for this is getting trying and knowing
it worked once before why has it stopped now....
I do not have Windows XP Home editions Fire Wall
running.....
I'm currently running MSN 6.0, but I have tried the MSN
6.1 and I have the same problem no matter which one I'm
using.....

Well, then you need to look at your connection, router, NAT modem or such.
Of course I assume that you have disabled the built in XP firewall, you have
have you not???? I am assuming that you have run the Audio Tuning Wizard and
it works!!! Have you not?????

If none of the below works, check to make sure your mic is connected to your
sound card and during the running of the Audio Tuning Wizard make sure you
are selecting the sound card, Also Double click the Sound Icon in your tray
and Then Options/Properties make sure the mic is NOT selected in Playback,
but IS selected in the record mode.
