addendum - I can get my DV Cam to run with Windows
Messenger 4.x. Still haveing XP/Audigy sound issues
however, and can't get mic from cam or stand-alone mic to
initialize.

In MSN messeger 6.1, my partners cam breaks up
occasionally (multiple ghost images), but I still can't
get it to use my cam.

Question remains: Use of DV cam in MSN 6.1 possible?
How do I avoid the "cam not plugged in/inuse by another
app" message, when it works in the wizard? Once I get
the cam working, how can I get sound to run (aside from
the XP/Audigy issues that I'm working on)?

Dv Cam only work in MSN messenger if you use the star Video Conference under
Actions
and Video Conference will only work if both computers are XP
Hop this is of some help
