SP1 over SP2 (Rolling back to SP1 on a PC w/SP2, Part 3)

Recap: Purchased three new Toshiba Satellite A70s with Windows XP Pro SP1;
They came with SP2, won't work with the data logging system we bought them
specifically to interface.

No time to reorder/re-source different PCs. Toshiba says other than
returning the PCs for a refund, they can't help me.

I have found three copies of Win XP Pro SP1. Can I install it directly over
the SP2 and overwrite, or do I need to reformat the HDDs and start over?

Hi,

You will need to install the SP1 versions clean.
Any needed drivers can be found here:
