I would like to know how to use Windows Messenger under my
name and not my husbands. My efforts have failed to
accomplish this. I am hoping you can help me.
Thanks

Simple, sign out your husband and sign in using your Passport ID and
password.

Greetings,
In addition to what Brian already told you, you may want to consider removing the default
saved Passport under whatever Windows XP User Account you're using, so then you won't be
signed into his name first when Messenger is started (not sure if this is a problem for you).
To do so, click the Start Button, then click the Control Panel. Then, click User Accounts in
the Control Panel. Select the Windows XP Account Name, and then on the left side of the
screen, under Related Tasks, click 'Manage my Network Passwords'. In the window that opens,
click the Passport.Net\* (Passport) entry and click 'Remove'.
