MSN Messenger 6.1

i have upgraded as well to 6.1 and i canot login to
yahoo.mail. I get a message saying files of this type
can harm your computer. When i say open it says windows
cannot open unless i tell it what program created the
file. When i tell it to go out on the web and find the
program i am told this page is not available any more. I
have not checked my mail in 3 days. But i can preview it
on my yahoo personal page.
anyone have a solution?
