I recently removed "istbar.slotch" using spybot, then
noticed thru norton internet security that messenger was
accessing the internet approximately every 2 minutes. I
set up NIS to block communcation with the web sites
associated with the adware and sure enough messenger was
trying to connect with those sites. I tried to end the
process thru the task manager and it would start up on
its own. I put the msmsgs.exe file in the trash and it
stopped. Can i download messenger from microsoft with the
same version on my computer or do i have to delete my
messenger first? If so, how do you uninstall?
