None apart from buying either;
An analogue to digital convertor, they vary in price, but also quality, the
cheaper often have audio/video sync problems. The external ones tend to be
easiest to set up and use. You can buy pci ones.
Buy an analogue capture card, pinnacle do one, maybe still the dc10.
Use a digital camcorder that has av-in and supports pass through, or film to
the tape and then capture.
Most above will require firewire

You can purchase any of the video capture cards,ati makes one for 50.00
or less.Install the card,drivers are all thats required,then download windows
media encoder and all its utilitys,codecs and youre set.Regular RCA jacks
work
fine,xp movie maker works also,this software far exceeds any the mfgs have,
its simple and at a low cost,the encoder transforms the vhs to
digital,youll still
need dvd write software to apply to a dvd.
