Possible Memory Leak in SP2

When leaving my computer on for long periods of time, it ends up freezing and
locking up. When I had SP1 installed, I left my computer on for over a month
and it remained stable. I've tried to pinpoint the memory leak to an
application, but closing it would fix the leak, correct?. I just want to post
this to bring it to attention of the commumity, and possibly get any help if
the issue has been fixed.

If it really is a memory leak, it's some application you've got running.
Have you added any applications, or are you maybe running something now that
you seldom used before?

It could be an overheating problem, or it could be some spyware.

The program that I think may have caused the leak is the AOL browser. The
latest release of it is highly unstable. Even still, I never had this problem
before until I installed SP2. It's definitley not overheating or spyware, my
computer is running in top shape.

Every new release of AOL causes some sort of problem for certain subsets of
users. I remember one release where computers refused to boot immediately
after the install. I had people coming in with that one for weeks.

After I got fed up with the last release of AOL, I haven't used it in weeks.
AIM and the web-based email service serves me well enough. After my last
lockup/freeze, my computer hasn't been on long enough to experience any
symptoms of a memory leak, but I'll see what happens within the next week or
so. Meanwhile, I'd appreciate any additional suggestions or comments.
