task scheduler

How do you get the task scheduler into the Task bar so it
will work in Win XP(Home)?

I have my task's to do set up in the scheduler but they
never run.

In WIN98 it was always in the task bar and worked great
for scanning disc and Defraging at specified times.

Any help would be greatly appreciated/
