Suddenly, I am unable to force a time synchronization with Windows. I get
the following error message:

"An error occurred while Windows was synchronizing with time.windows.com.
The time sample was rejected because: The peer's stratum is less than the
host's stratum."

What does this mean? How do I correct it?

I run Windows XP, Home Edition, with 1024 MB RAM. Connected to the Internet
by DSL. I have latest upgrade of Zone Alarm as firewall.

I would appreciate any help.

Thank you.

Change time.nist.gov to 'tock.usno.navy.mil' and sync will work again.
Something wrong on others when changed to daylight savings time.
