First, try booting into SAFE MODE and then use XP's
System Restore program to return your computer to=20
the configuration it was in prior to installing the updates.
If that does not yield results:
Visit http://www.webtree.ca/windowsxp/repair_xp.htm and click
on "How to Run a Repair Install".
You'll need your original Windows XP CD, and the Product Key that
came with it, in order to perform a repair.
