I have been trying for weks to solve my pagefile problem.
I checked the knowledgeBase for answerss and still no
resolution. here's my problem. I can not modify my
pagefile. Everytime I login to the system i get an error
stating that my virtual memory is too low or my pagefile
is too small. I go into performance tab to modify the
virtual memory, but everytime I attemt to changed it,
nothing happens. When I restart the system it stll reads 0
MB pagefile. I have tried everything, even re-installing
over the current windows. Can someone help me with this? I
do not want to re-install a fresh copy. I have too many
apps, and other configurations. How can I create a
pagefile outside of the control panel?.

Thank You

Have you tried telling it "No pagefile" click Set (to get things in sync),
restart.
Then create the pagefile on drive c:, click Set, restart to get new setting
to take affect?

Good advise on pagefile size and location is found here,
