I would like to uninstall xp sp2 but it doesn't show up in my add/remove and
under the $ntservicepackuninstall$ file in spuinst file folder, there is no
spuinst.exe file only service pack 2.asms, spunist.inf and spunist.txt. Can
I find this executable file anywhere or what other options are there. I
can't do a restore point because it doesn't go back far enough. Any help
would be appreciated.

Start/Control Panel/Add or Remove (make sure that Show Updates is enabled).

It seems the uninstall files were deleted.
This is often done to save space.
Without the uninstall files, SP-2 can not be uninstalled.
Perhaps you should start a new thread detailing the issues you have and
possibly someone may be able to help.

Kelly;
Because the actual problem will probably not be related to current subject.
And an unrelated subject may cause some who otherwise could help to not see
the post.

OT: Why would you need to un-install SP2? What problems are you having
with SP2? We may be able to solve those problems?

Tigerman,
Did you install a slipstreamed version of Windows XP? (Windows XP with SP2
already built-in)
If so, then an un-install is not going to happen as you miss all the
un-install files...
Cheers,
