I just noticed that a file is setting on my C drive that is called
autoexec.cam and I cant find anything on it. Can someone tell me what it is
and whether I can delete it or not??

Some program you installed updated the autoexec.bat file and renamed
the old one with the cam extension. Windows XP does not used
autoexec.bat or config.sys but uses the corresponding files with the
nt extension unless a different one is referenced in a PIF for an
MS-DOS program. If you upgraded to Windows XP from an earlier
version the file may be left over from an earlier installation. It
could also be created by the installation of a program which runs on
an earlier version of Windows or in MS-DOS.

You could renamed it and run your computer for a week using every
program at least once to see if there is any protest. If all is
quiet, you can delete the file. That is a lot of effort for a file
which is less than one kilobyte in size.
