How can a file simply disappear? Went to play Hearts on one of my 3
computers

(the one I use the least and to which I haven't made any significant changes
in

months) and received the message that cards.dll was missing!! Other than my
wife, who

uses the computer for some word processing, I am the only user of the
computer.

The remedy was easy enough, but I'm just curious on how that could occur!!

Randomly disappearing files and self changing settings are a free feature
incorporated into all Microsoft products. <g>
