As for removing it.... If you have not invested too much time loading
software...
Format and reload ALWAYS fixes that problem....

(All advice is checked, re-checked and verified to be questionable....)

hmmm...did you update to windows xp or was it already
installed when you bought it?..sounds like if you updated
from an older version of windows to xp you may have
partitioned your hard drive when you installed xp. Thats
why your getting the "which os to boot message".
