my win xp has no sp1 , i would like to insatll new mother board can i
install win xp home then insatll sp2?
i have sp2 disk from microsoft.

Hi John,
Yes, you most certainly can. SP2 contains all updates up to its release,
including those that were part of SP1.

You can do that. You can also create a slipstream copy of Windows XP with
SP2 embedded. See the instructions here
