off screen expansion

Windows viewed on the monitor from some locations are over
size and extended beyond the view, also printed documents
are extended to the right of the screen and therefore
cropped. I am using xp home edition.

Any suggestions on how to correct this?

Reboot the system, and then adjust the monitor controls to adjust the
position of the desktop.. it could be that you have the viewable area
extended beyond the boundary of the display..
