It looks like you're using the web-based reader. When I tried the search
function there, it did not work for me either. (I will forward this problem
on to the appropriate parties.)

In the meantime, Google Groups search works:
http://groups.google.com

Better yet - try using Outlook Express as your news reader. Amongst many
other things, you'll get a working search function:

Thanks for your reply. I'd rather not use OE because I
did at work and started getting alot of spam. Using the
web, I don't have to give out my address.

Hopefully, they will get it working. I'm not a computer
expert but I knew I should know how to do a simple search.
