I have XP 2002 home version and the CPU usage is spiking
at 100% with no applications running. I diligently
install all updates when the update messages appear on my
computer. (I have not missed one)
I have defraged, dumped cache,unloaded cookies etc etc
The CPU is slowing to a crawl and I have a newer Dell. I
have 128 Megs of Ram, 1.2 Gig Processor, plenty of
hardrive space.
In fact if you watch the mouse courser it will react as
though a program is running when there is nothing
running. (you can be starring at the desktop for example)
Any ideas here? Help????
