XP Service Pack

I have just downloaded & installed Windows XP service pack 1.

It has taken up over 2GB in hard disk space & I was wondering if this is
normal?

I did do a disk clean up & I am still around 2GB down!

No it is not normal. The SP is nowhere near that big. Do a disk cleanup.
