Why is it so had to download a complete copy of SP2?

Why is it so had to download a copy of service pack 2, i felt as if i was on
a merry-go-round gone mad, i could never get to the place where i needed to
be... downloading a copy of the service pack for my XP system... i was trying
to do this from my windows 2000 server system. i need the Xp SP2 in order to
get the WEP to work amd to use ICS

Not hard at all.

You need broadband adequate for a 266MB download. Then go to
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/winxppro/maintain/sp2predl.mspx

And take Download and Deploy to multiple computers to find the download
